About US

If you've found your way here, chances are someone you love has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease or another form of dementia. You may be feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or wondering what comes next.

I want you to know something.

You don't have to figure this out alone.

Over the course of a 30-year professional career, I've had the opportunity to build, lead, and serve in many different roles. Looking back, each experience taught me something about people, problem-solving, and service. I didn't realize it at the time, but every step was preparing me for the work I do today.

When I found dementia care, I found the work I was truly meant to do.

Today, I have the privilege of helping families navigate one of life's most overwhelming and emotional journeys with education, expertise, and unwavering support. My goal is to bring clarity to an incredibly complex process so families can make informed decisions with confidence, at the right time, and for the right reasons.

Dementia changes everything.

The decisions families face are rarely simple. Questions about safety, caregiving, finances, quality of life, and when, or if, t's time for memory care can feel overwhelming. Unfortunately, many families are forced to make these decisions without the guidance they deserve.

That's why NorthStar exists.

I specialize exclusively in dementia care. My role isn't simply to help families find a memory care community. It's to educate, guide, advocate, and walk alongside them from the moment dementia begins changing life at home through every stage of the journey.

Every family is different. Every diagnosis is different. There is no one-size-fits-all answer.

My commitment is to listen first, understand your family's unique situation, and provide honest guidance rooted in experience, compassion, and expertise. Together, we'll create a plan that supports your loved one while giving you the knowledge and confidence to move forward.

One of the greatest privileges of my work is being welcomed into people's homes and trusted during one of the most vulnerable seasons of their lives. I never take that responsibility lightly.

Whether the next step is additional support at home, exploring memory care, or simply understanding what to expect as the disease progresses, my purpose is always the same:

To help your loved one experience the highest possible quality of life while giving your family the clarity, confidence, and peace of mind you deserve.

You don't have to know all the answers.

That's what I'm here for.

Hi, I’m Jamie Bond. Founder of NorthStar Memory Care Navigation, Certified Dementia Practitioner, and Memory Care Advisor.

Hi, I’m annie kyger - Coordinator.

I'm passionate about bringing clarity, organization, and compassion to what can be one of the most overwhelming times in a family's life.

Having had loved ones with Alzheimer's disease and dementia, I understand firsthand how overwhelming, emotional, and uncertain the memory care journey can feel for families. I know that every family's situation is different, and that no two journeys look exactly alike.

Once a family has chosen the right memory care community, I help to coordinate the many details that go into a successful transition and work to ensure everything is in place for move-in day.

I also help families prepare for what to expect throughout the transition, answer questions as they arise, and coordinate the many moving pieces that can otherwise feel overwhelming. My goal is to make the process as seamless and stress-free as possible, allowing families to focus on what matters most—supporting their loved one during this important life change.

One of the most rewarding parts of my role is seeing the relief families feel when they realize they don't have to navigate this process alone. Whether you're just beginning to explore memory care or preparing for move-in day, I'm here to provide guidance, support, and a steady point of contact every step of the way.

I look forward to helping your family navigate this journey with confidence and peace of mind.
